Blogger Feature: Two Live Colorfully

Hey everyone! I’m back with another blogger feature. Just to catch you up to speed, after networking with some pretty amazing women at Haven Conference, I came back with a great group of blog gal pals. We’ve all kept in touch and frequently chat back and forth about all things blog related. I am also huge fans of all of their blogs now too. It’s so fun to follow what each person’s style and blog is like.

I started this blogger feature with Jackie from Teal & Lime, and now I’m back with Megan of Two Live Colorfully. Yes, Megan’s unite for this post! Plus, her blog has loads of color going on, and you know I’m a big fan of that! This time I’m shaking up the format a little bit and this blogger profile is going to be of my delving into her site. Here’s the fun journey I had of learning about Two Live Colorfully…

As I mentioned before, I met Megan at Haven. We bonded one afternoon after sitting next to each for two classes in the front row in the same room. We giggled over how cute Sherry and Katie are together and then got our brains blown by information overload in advertising. After that, we continually found each other at the conference, along with Jackie. There were many jokes made about Megan sandwiches. Poor (or lucky?) Jackie. Also, fun fact – my name is Megan (um, duh) and my sister’s name is Jackie. I thought that it was a fun coincidence!

Megan is so sweet, genuine, and bubbly, which is always a fun combination. You can basically tell that from her blog right away with its bright splashes of color and fun animated sidebars. She has an apartment but it took me a while to realize it was an apartment because it is far from basic. She and her husband have done so many great upgrades that it is definitely one of a kind.

Now, let’s play a fun game of favorites, because I have found so many favorites from her site.

My favorite project: DIY Artwork from a Pinterest Challenge

I am always crushing on DIY artwork. I love the personalized touch and the handmade element. Plus, art is expensive! It’s worth it if you looove it but I rarely find art I love that much. So most of the time it is prints, printables, and DIY art for me. I love the large scale of this one and how she mixed the stripes with floral. It’s definitely a statement piece!

My favorite furniture makeover: Gilded Chair Makeover

Ooo la la, I am always a sucker for a good furniture makeover. This one blew me away. I love the blue and gold combo so much right now. This fabric, the gold, and the lines on this chair are just doing all sorts of good things to my insides. Well done Megan!

My favorite room: Dining room

This room is just so fun! How cool is it how she made a light fixture (that couldn’t be changed since it’s an apartment) into a one of a kind statement piece. You can’t change it but you can add to it! How bright and fun!

My favorite printable: Teacher printable

Megan’s husband is a teacher and she helps him get all crafty in the classroom. I am over the moon in love with this hilarious (yet so helpful) poster she made. It just speaks high school language with it’s hash tags and cool fonts. I’m thinking about printing it out for my office…

All around favorite idea: Colorful Life List

This is such an inspiring idea. Megan has put together a list of all of her life aspirations. From big to small, near and far, fun and maybe even a little scary. She is then checking them off her list one by one. Some fun ones are: read 100 books by the time she is 30 (you can see how progress is coming here), reducing belongings to only useful and meaningful things, own a business, shoot a gun, pay for a car 100%, and buy a scooter for around town.

Thanks so much Megan for opening up your life, home, and blog to us!
